You're Engaged! Congratulations! Take a look at our packages and then reach out by phone, email or use the contact form on this website. Dates book up quickly so don't wait. We will look at dates and answer any questions you might have. Once a date has been finalized we will email you the Hold the Date Invoice and an Agreement. A non refundable deposit towards the package price (stated in the package descriptions) and a signed agreement are required to hold your date. The balance of your package is due 30 to 45 days before your ceremony date depending on the package you have selected. It's simple and stress-free. Unlike some beach wedding companies we give you the date, time, location, maps, print out of your package details within minutes of you booking with us. No waiting for info about your own ceremony. We know you need to order invitations and have peace of mind. We also don't stop answering the phone once you're booked with us. Call or email anytime.
We include professional photography in every package except the Justice of the Peace. One of our inhouse Photographers will take non stop pictures throughout your ceremony and then posed pictures of the couple and the couple and guests afterwards. Your images will be edited/retouched for lighting and density to ensure they are of the highest quality. Unlike many photographers, we allow our clients to have their digital images with a copyright release. The copyright release we provide allows you unlimited personal use and reproduction of your images. You are free to print them, e-mail them, put them on your social media accounts, etc. We do not limit the number of photos taken. On average a couple receives over 150 images on the USB we mail them 25 days after their ceremony. We do not allow the hiring of outside photographers for our packages. We keep our prices down by using all inhouse photographers.
They say Rain is Good Luck on your Wedding Day and it might be, but it can really mess up the plans for being outside on the beach if it pours. Each year we officiate over 250 ceremonies and at least 20 of them will unfortunately have rain. Here are the things we can do to prepare should Mother Nature not want to cooperate on your special day. 1. Your ceremony can be moved to another date or time that is good for all of us. 2. We can move your ceremony inside to our Reception Venue. We would set up your packages décor inside. 3. When you book with us you can then book a Plan B room at your hotel or use space at your condo or rental home. 4. We can stand on the beach in the rain without décor and photographer with no refunds. Some do it but I'd go with 1, 2 or 3.
We are able to offer such affordable prices by "keeping it in the family." We are a family business and along with a few great friends we all work together to give you beautiful photography and excellent service with our Officiants. All you have to do is read our reviews. So, the answer is no. Trust in our years of experience. Guests are welcome to use their cellphones to take pictures or video during your ceremony but we ask them to not walk around and possible photobomb your professional pictures.
Our favorite location is The Myrtle Beach State Park and it's adjoining beach. This location has a great mix of features such as wide sand areas for set up, pretty walkouts for the bridal party entrance and pictures, lots of parking, nice clean restrooms and a pier. There is an entrance fee to the park. If you prefer not to add a fee which is fine, then we can tell you about some wonderful "on the beach" locations in Myrtle Beach that are free to use. Myrtle Beach does not allow weddings on the beach in all areas and we can email you a list of hotels and condos so you can book one on the beach if you would like to hold your ceremony right outside of your hotel in an approved location. If you are staying in North Myrtle Beach (separate city from Myrtle Beach) we can come to your hotel or rented home/condo as their rules are different. No permits are ever needed in Myrtle Beach.
Not with us! Read the reviews. When you book a beach wedding, vow renewal or reception with us we first go over every detail with you over the phone in a conference call with both of you and Jennifer. Once you have selected your package and we have agreed upon the date, the time and the location of your ceremony, you don't need to do a thing involving your actual ceremony. This gives you time for all the other things (invitations, clothing, accommodations) on the list. On your ceremony day you will show up, walk out onto the beach and have the ceremony you have dreamed about. You will know exactly where to go, where to park, how to make your grand entrance, etc. You will have picked the ceremony script you would like, the sand colors and we will have gone over every single detail of your package. One of us will coordinate your guests upon their arrival and go over the walk down the aisle with your bridal party. There are no surprises for anyone.
Well, since you asked....we started this business years ago when we had a bad experience with our own beach wedding here in Myrtle Beach. So, we have been there. Not everyone always has your best interest at heart. We take phone calls a few times a season from crying brides who can't get in touch with the Minister or company they have already paid a deposit to and we want to cry with them. There are no excuses for that. We are highly organized and we answer the phone and return emails....as many times as you call or email. Read the detailed reviews couples write about us on Facebook and Google. Their words are the reason you should reach out and trust us with your ceremony. We are professionals and we take the fact that it's your special day and your hard earned money very seriously. The last thing you should worry about on your wedding day is if we will show up. We do and we will...with smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts.
Beach set up rules, the time of year, tide charts and the weather can all determine the best time for a ceremony on the beach. If you are interested in using an arbor and chair package, May - mid September, we cannot start the set up time until 5:00 pm during the peak season per the rules. This means an evening ceremony for you (6:00 pm or after) Some people ask us about sunset ceremonies and we remind them that in South Carolina (the East Coast) the sun does not set over the ocean. Those Pinterest pictures are beautiful but here the sun sets behind the hotels in the West, shading the beach. The sky over the ocean can have pretty color in it around sunset, but it's really better to select a time on the beach when there is sunlight for your pictures. When we speak on the phone and discuss your desired date we will steer you to the absolute best time of day for your ceremony.
We joyfully officiate weddings and vow renewals for Same Sex Couples. Love is Love!
